About the Event

The PPI TMU Welcome Party (Fall 115) was organised by the Indonesian Student Association at Taipei Medical University (PPI TMU) to welcome Indonesian students, particularly incoming students beginning their studies in the Fall semester of Academic Year 115 (2026).

The event aimed to strengthen connections among Indonesian students, foster a sense of community, and support new students in adapting to academic and social life in Taiwan. The programme featured student introductions, experience-sharing sessions, communal dining, and networking activities, providing opportunities for participants to exchange information, build friendships, and develop supportive relationships within the Indonesian student community.

I participated in this event as both an attendee and one of the speakers during the experience-sharing session. In this role, I shared my experiences and perspectives with students and alumni, offering insights into academic life, adapting to the university environment, and navigating the opportunities and challenges of studying in Taiwan. The session also provided an opportunity to engage with fellow students, exchange perspectives, and contribute to a supportive learning environment for newcomers.

Through this gathering, PPI TMU encouraged meaningful interactions between senior and junior students while strengthening a sense of belonging, mutual support, and community engagement among Indonesian students at Taipei Medical University.
