Public health researcher, scholarship consultant, and black coffee drinker.
I am a public health researcher working across applied epidemiology, global health, infectious diseases, non-communicable diseases, and population health. My recent work covers tuberculosis, respiratory health, child growth and nutrition, cardiometabolic risk, clinical epidemiology, evidence synthesis, and disease burden.
My experience is now centered on research, teaching, and mentoring. I have taught medical and graduate learners, formally supervised more than 20 undergraduate medical students, supported graduate students, and contributed to international scientific writing collaborations. I aim to make research methods, data, and complex health evidence easier to understand and apply.
As Head of the Benang Merah Research Center, I support researchers with study design, data analysis, manuscript development, and peer review. I also develop practical research and knowledge platforms using PHP, MySQL, and WordPress to support learning, collaboration, and scientific work in Indonesia, ASEAN, and wider global health settings.
As a scholarship mentor, I manage IdeBeasiswa.com and Jago Beasiswa on Instagram and YouTube. I help applicants select suitable study programs and prospective supervisors, prepare application documents, develop stronger essays, and practice through mock interviews. My approach is practical and tailored to each applicant’s academic background, goals, and target scholarship.
I drink black coffee, especially kopi tubruk, almost every day and usually grind the beans myself. Coffee is also part of my research interests: I have written and contributed to several papers about coffee, with more work currently in preparation.
